Y5 Vote in the EU Referendum

Date: 23rd Jun 2016 @ 1:42pm

Year 5 have been learning all about the EU referendum. We found out what the EU is and why it is a big decision. We researched both sides of the debate and made posters to show the main arguments. We had class discussions and even completed an EU quiz in which we scored 100%. Miss Laverick and Miss Chalk were both very impressed with the amount that we learnt and our discussions.

On Thursday morning, along with the rest of the country, Year 5 entered their very own polling station and voted. Our vote will not officially count as we are not 18 but we want to see if our class vote reflects the official outcome that will be revealed on Friday morning.

With a majority vote Year Five voted to remain in the EU.
