Author Visit

This half term we were lucky enough to be visited by a real life local author! Rachel Lyon, a St Helens author, came to share her book 'The Childe of Hale.' She shared the book with the whole school in assembly and then spent some time with each class. She told us the story of John Middleton who the story is about and shared her expertise about giants, measuring and of course writing. Inspired by her writing every class has been finding out more about her story. The children in the infants have even recorded their own 'Childe of Hale' video.
